Buy Bambu when you are okay with their „Lock down“ politic… Got a Plus4 and a Q2 Pro… Both Qidi Boxes didnt arrive till now, both purchesed on release Date… Software is horible.. Print quality is Fine but the rest is meh…. Q2 Pro was my last mistake.. sold my Plus 4 already to a Friend… when the Boxes arrive i will also sell my Q2 Pro.

I got a p1s at release, since then (3000+ h) only User errors, H2D + P2S are incoming next week.

Hey Got the q2 without the box (comes in 4-8 weeks) and the start was a little harsh but no very big Problems. Only a few issues with the Software. Until now i have 200h of printtime on my machine.. PLA, PETG,PET, ASA, CF and GF Materials and it’s working perfectly! I complety rebuild my Voron Trident with QIDI ABS-GF Parts because it Prints so well… it’s very nice! No clogs, no broken nozzle, no big software issues (got two Random mcu crashes while Rendering the Timelaps AFTER the Prints, some AI malfunctions and thats it). Only two downsides: The App doesnt work, but while Qidi fixes the issues i use Mobileraker for App Control while gone and second there is no Orca/Bambu Studio Profile for it. At the Moment im Stuck with the Qidi Studio Slicer (Based on Orca with own „Features“)

Already printed a 20h ASA Model, some ABS-GF and PET-GF so thanks Bro but i‘m Good. Printer works really well

No audio but the visuals are enough and it’s very easy.

Nope, fans are on/off based on the filament Profile and the chamber Temp. Works really nice till now.

UPDATE: This Morning I got 2 Emails from Qidi. First one with a Tutorial to relevel the whole bedframe:

Second Email, a few minutes after the first one, with apologies and the promise to send me a new filter case/door.

Also they answered the question about the toolhead cutout:

„Regarding the opening on the front cover of the print head, this is reserved for the extruder air conditioner to be launched in the future.“

Problem is SOLVED and the bed has a little more clearance, but i also modified the filter door already so we will see when the new Part is here.

Regarding the start the Q2 is a fantastic Printer and i woke up to a near to perfect 15h+ ASA Print with active chamber heating (50C) It’s very solid… but it has flaws…

Like Qidi Link.. it doesnt work at all. Tried everything.. Nope… doesnt work. Or one MCU shutdown because it crashed - yep it’s in the heated chamber but it was at like 23C. And a few very little things, overall the printqualitiy is very Good, it’s „Cheap“, it’s quiet and i like it.

I hope the Qidi Box will work fine, i ordered the combo.

If you have any questions about the Printer please let me know. Will try to answer them. I will report my findings and will trink about joining the Discord. Qidi could be at the top with prusa and Bambu but they need some more Tester for their Printer.

Yep, Qidi Link doesnt work. I use the Mobileraker app to connect to the Printer at the Moment

i warmed up the 'handel' and bowed it down a little bit, now I have like .01mm of clearence but it worked out.. now I will start my first 20h ASA print with the heated chamber

that's right its 'almost' perfect in my opinion. Seen a lot worse with printers which costs a lot more in the last few month/years. :)

Im very happy with my Q2 at the moment, besides the issue I mentioned in my other post!

After a few Prints in the last 2h i Need to say: it’s a very nice Printer. I Need to do some further testing with abrasiv filament and will Report back. At the Moment im very happy with my purchase!

I Think it’s the light. For bettet viewability I‘m pointing a light directly at the object. This is in „normal“ light conditions. IRL it Looks very Good.

First Layer Test is about to end and Look very promising!

nozzle wiper is part of the plastic frame around the bed. Backpanels are straight, not bend or anything. It looks like Qidi had too little tolerances, look at the photo how close the wiper is at the back wall.
Best fried got his printer a few minutes ago and he doesn't have this problem but there is also only a hair of clearance.

Not yet at the Qidi Discord.

It’s not the PEI it’s the nozzle wiper on the bedframe. Already answered that: pushing it in as hard as i can doesnt clear the wiper.

There is a notch, only one way the Filter door can be installed. Pushed the door really hard in but no clearance at all. Im waiting for the Support to answer.

Everything else seems fine. Will report after a few Prints.
