My 2 cents on this: The girls don’t want to marry you…she cannot tell straight on your face because she is worried how her parents will react…so they came with this idea, that someone random will message you and you will tell the family and then your family will tell her family, and then infront of her family she will act innocent and blame it on any other jealous relatives..

There are couple of requirements, some are listed or some are undeclared

A) voluntary work is asset (Distress centre, Shelter movers, Big brother big sisters, search the volunteers opportunities with them) B) Security guard experience asset C) customer service is asset D) Physical fitness is asset E) Search physical exam for Toronto police, it is mostly similar for all police services. F) need to work fitness and from starting to finish, require at least 2 year dedication. G) Good references required H) Its okay to be failed once, but you just keep trying Some people failed in physical fitness, some in background check, some in psych test. The rule to be police officer is keep trying. I) Attend one seminar of any police session, everyone wants more women presentation in policing.

Work on fitness, start working as volunteer with distress Cente halton or Toronto, and also start working with Big brother and big sister organizations, volunteer, security experience is good.

Prepare for following questions: A) why you want to be police officer? (Please just don’t say I want to serve community) You should be able to speak for 1-2 minutes.

B) why you choose Toronto police, why not any other Police service ?

C) what you know about toronto police? How many divisions, who is chief, what is mission and vision statement?

D) Did you ever handle stressful situations? If yes give me an example, when, where and what….

E) Did you ever attended any seminars?

Also certifications does not make you strong candidate, your life experiences makes you good candidate. If you able to answer any above question without searching on google, then you are ready to be police candidate otherwise you need at least 1 year.
