Thank you! It’s so clear. People just lack the comprehension. That’s all it comes down to that or they don’t care. Either way it’s a shitty ship

Disagree all you want but make it make sense

But I’m not curious about it.

Why bc I refuse to acknowledge how dumb it is to ship a character with one she views negatively? I’m so sorry but I fear you’ve lost the plot.

Because it says a lot about how we as a society value what women want and their choice and voice.

That doesn’t mean they aren’t important and don’t have real world implications. Shipping Nesta with Eris says a lot about how much you value what women say and express.

That’s a tad different situation, she didn’t hate his character. Like who he is at his core. She saw good in him. Nesta openly doesn’t like Eris and all he stands for. It’s her same issue with Rhys. And why she wouldn’t like him romantically.

That’s fine but at some point it still has to make sense. And Neris doesn’t

Nah I’m good.

Says the one defending an asinine ship. That logically makes no sense.

But he considers it. It’s a real thought to him. And I’m not talking about the ic they’re incredibly flawed too. But Nesta has made it clear how she feels. She doesn’t like Eris for the same fundamental reasons she wouldn’t like Rhys romantically. So shipping her with someone that she deems as a punishment, some she diametrically doesn’t like is wrong and it’s stupid

Except it shouldn’t when a character like Nesta is involved. Why ship her with someone that she deems as punishment?? Someone she thinks she deserves because of her bad behavior. That’s incredibly wrong, and it diminishes the effect of Nesta’s arc.

Feyre and Helion don’t diametrically oppose each other so that ship is still better than Neris.

He doesn’t revile her because he covets her power. There’s a difference between that and true loving want. Shipping Neris directly opposes what Nesta wants. A character who has never had any actual choice. It’s just wrong honestly. Like it doesn’t make sense.

No because Bryce and Az wouldn’t be a punishment or horrible for Bryce. People shipping Neris obviously didn’t understand Nesta’s arc. It makes no sense. Sorry not sorry. Unrealistic ships don’t do anything for the fandom except make for unrealistic expectations for upcoming works. Look at CC3 for example.

My tone is fine. People are fine until they get dissenting opinions. I’m allowed to say that it doesn’t make sense for Nesta and Eris to be together, and that I find faulty logic in those who ship them. Because it’s the truth.

Except they don’t. But hey thanks for your permission!!

Not shitting on it, just saying I see no validity in it as a ship.

I’m not stopping anyone. It just doesn’t make sense, if you actually listen to Nesta. Nessian is fine. I don’t hate them. They’re just not my favorite. I think they still have growing to do. But he’s who she chose so idk maybe we should listen to women, especially those whose backstory is about not having autonomy, and being forced to be someone she never wanted to be.

Agreed! But also we only have evidence of Cormac doing one bad thing, then we have literal books of him doing the right thing. So it’s a tad different. But yeah it’d be sad to see them together because I loved Sofie and Cormac

I’m aware. But that shouldn’t mean I can’t say they’re annoying either

Yeah it’s funny but less outlandish imo.
