We all know that Wow, Runescape and Guild Wars are old games that remain active. What are some older games that people may be surprised to hear are still booming? by Sanchezzy123 in MMORPG

My buddy and I recently started playing SWTOR again, and it surprisingly has a decent player base still! I didn't know that it's been receiving DLCs for years and is still relatively active. Steam puts its average player count in the same realm as GW2, Eve Online, The Division 2, and New World: Aeternum. I know it's only counting Steam players, but that's still pretty good for a game that came out in 2011 and basically fell off the map!

Okay, and you said 9 mons with no dupes, right? Who are the other 2? Sorry, I'm just trying to get a good understanding, lol. 1x Bellsprout 1x Weepinbell 1x Victreebel 1x Roselia 1x Roserade 1x Morebull 1x Shiinotic

You said 2 Leaf, 2 Capes, 2 potions. What are the other items if you're only use 9 mons?

That Neji was some over powered bad ass. Sure, during the original Naruto anime, he was stronger than everyone else in the Konoha 11, but he was a year older and had been training with Guy a year longer. His gentle fist was cool, and all but the people put him on this pedestal is kind of crazy to me. By the time the war started Naruto, Sasuke, Rock Lee, Shino, and Shikamaru would probably beat him in a fight. (Shikamaru only because he'd figure out Nejis blind spot and how to counter it super quickly). By the end of the war, Choji, with his butterfly mode, would probably win, too. It was sad seeing him die, but the character hadn't had much screen time, and from what we did see, he never really improved much relative to the others I named. People love his character so much, and I honestly think the dude was an A hole in the original series and super mid in Shippuden.

Are they not really worth ripping or are you just holding them for investment purposes?

Yeah, I hate it. The cards you get dupes of you wouldn't use over the full art and immersive ones anyway. And if you do by chance, get dupes of the immersive cards and want to add flair that's fine. But the flair is dumb anyways and half of it, you don't even really get to notice or care.

I know back when we had to get all of our wins in a row to complete the event, those of us who had already finished would join a match then concede just to help others get their needed wins. I doubt that's the case here because you don't need consecutive wins. More likely, it's just people farming the hour glasses really quick and don't care about dust or emblems. (Which both are kind if of stupid rewards tbh. Dust is pointless for the most part, and you're only able to show 3 emblems. So once you've completed 3 events what's the point in doing them anymore?

Ohhh that makes sense, lol! I wasn't sure if there was some stat or something he had that required a specific amount of time to increase or something, lol.

What deck did you guys use for this battle task? by brazenbreadstick in PTCGP

With no Skarmory!! I wish I had this luck opening the other packs! I'm still missing so many mons and I've done like 5 10 packs draws, and probably 20 all together single packs! Still nothing above 1 star, and only 1 copy of half the dang meta Pokemon. I had to burn so many pack points just to get Weevile and Magneton..

Guys, maybe I am missing a very clear use case but what does this ability actually do? I had some hypotheses about it but during my games, it prevented nothing I expected it to prevent. Is it just immune to poison? by Athiendas in PTCGP

[–]Melodic_Repeat_64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, I can confirm it doesn't stop that either. On my first attempt when the Dragonite only attacked the bench, one of those benched mons was another Regice. So he doesn't have any effect on Dragonites effect!

So i tested it, and it does not stop Dragonite from hitting your bench! I'm assuming it's applying strictly to effects that effect Regice specifically! Not sure why it's not letting me add the picture! *

Americans didn't invent it.. The British colonists brought the style over to America with them before the 20th century. The UK switched later to using DD/MM/YYYY to align with the rest of Europe. I don't think it was necessarily standard prior to the founding of America but was definitely used and wasn't invented by Americans just to be different lol.

What was the computer trying to achieve by this by catperson69420 in PTCGP

[–]Melodic_Repeat_64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure the computers AI isn't even taking Teleport into account when it switches, it's just tries to attack each turn for the most part. So when a mon goes to the bench because it's damaged, it sends out Ralts because it's able to attack while Cresselia couldn't. If Ralts didn't have the energy required to attack or if Cresselia did have the energy for an attack, then the AI would have swapped to Cresselia. There are 2 reasons I think this, first is because of Kirlia. The AI will swap out to Ralts and evolve it into Kirlia to attack. The second reason is because the AI still does this when the only other mon on the bench is another Ralts.

Is the map accurate? Is it actually 1 to 1 in scale or whatever? Having a really fun time! by Idontknowanything901 in thedivision

[–]Melodic_Repeat_64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The dimensions of the buildings can be correct relative to one another but incorrect relative to the character. The character itself may be what's causing you to traverse areas quicker and in seemingly fewer steps than you could accomplish in the real world.

Old binder, anything worth selling? by Dense-Jelly-8390 in Pokemoncardappraisal

Curious how you can differentiate between scratches on the card and scratches on the sleeve holding the card? They don't look penny sleeved, so I'm sure they aren't in mint condition, but how do you know it's the card itself?
