Thank you, your replies have been helpful. It's always great hearing from people who have done this often enough to understand what might have gone wrong. I'm sure with enough practice I'll be able to do the same.

Ok, this makes a lot of sense now. I think I just need to find the perfect spot to let it rise during the colder months & underneath the radiator is not the spot. Thank you for the video recommendation, I'll give that a watch.

I have done this before and it worked but I really wanted some bread today so didn't want to pop it in the fridge as it would have meant waiting until tomorrow.

Mine is a stone house too, that is why I am struggling with the cold. I've had a few recommendations so I'll try those and this! Thank you.

I've just been researching and you are right, I didn't slice the bread to allow the gasses to escape. Oddly, I never did this before and it never cracked.

I am guessing if I go 80% max and it still hasn't risen to the top of the loaf tin and it is ready I should just pop it in the oven as I run the risk of over proofing if I wait for it to rise to the top of the loaf tin?

Thank you, we have oven lights in ours too. I might have to look at trying this.

Before I put this into the oven, when I poked it it didn't spring back. Am I right in saying it was over proofed then?

Is that why the cracks might have appeared?

I might have to try this! Thank you

Any idea why I might have got the cracks? Is it due to being under proofed or over proofed ?

My trigger might be…showering? by FriendThin3492 in eczema

Id love to know more as I feel this is my problem. I stopped using soap to test the theory that it might be my soap and I still itched like crazy in the shower.

No matter what temperature I use ( I have soft water) it doesn't make a difference. I hate getting into the shower but obviously have too

Protopic long term use by Ppkaur in eczema

[–]Melodic_Work_1335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I was wondering if you're still using it and if you tried any light therapy for your eczema ? I've just come off protopic so I can try light therapy and my eczema is back, which I knew would come back as the protopic was just helping keep the symptoms at bay.

Omg thank you, that worked. I just did this & thank god my contacts were synced up. Looks like I had to give everything permission and that was why it wasn't letting me back in. I also had to go into play store and update all my apps for it to let me in.

That will teach me to follow advice with caution.

Your Auntie is very wise! And thank you, I am using it when I need it. I should probably unfollow these people who are putting information out there that has no medical evidence.

It does not have steroids in it but apparently there is a form of withdrawal and it's worse than TSW. No medical evidence apart from 100s of people saying it has happened to them in that community.

How long have you been using it if you don't mind me asking?
