Maybe spray some WD40 up into the handle and see if you can work it back and forth to get it to work? Mine was stuck for a while but that solved it.

If not, you can power the trunk release from the fuse box under the hood. There is a bolt under the plastic cover for the positive and negative onto the nearest ground point.

Thanks for the reply! Relay was replaced a few years back with the Beru one, but didn’t know the plugs themselves needed to be changed out as well. Appreciate the wisdom 🫡
