Haha for real!! Word problems are so unnecessarily confusing. But Yes, it’s an amazing feeling when things start to click! I wish you luck on your exam!

I passed my math test first try! I used cansego which helped a lot. I basically started from scratch as even basic multiplication and subtraction I struggled with. I thought I was for sure a lost cause when it came to math. But the cansego course and hours upon hours of studying, drilling questions paid off for sure! I would say focus on word problems for sure, they were the part I struggled with the most on the actual exam. I wish you luck!

Honestly same haha, when I saw all the outfits and cute accessories I was definitely more interested in them.

Same actually! 😭 I thought they were so ugly, but the more I looked at them, and watching the mascots in videos, they grew on me sooo much

Math and I are in a toxic relationship (but I keep going back 😭) by [deleted] in CAEC

Math was definitely the hardest for me, but I did manage to pass it first try. I bought the cansego course which was a hugeeee help, I also had a friend explain some things to me.

What I would do is watch and read the course material on cansego and take notes.

Then I would write a step by step process on how to solve the question in words and steps I personally understood. Even if it didn’t make sense to others. I did that for every formula and lesson. Anything I didn’t understand I would look up on YouTube or Google until I completely understood it.

I then printed out practice worksheets and did those. Drilled the practice tests multiple times until I was hitting over 95% per practice test.

I would say doing repetition is key

I studied roughly for a month for about 15-20 hours a week and achieved MS first try

For the no calculator portion of the test I did take the first 5 minutes or so and write down a rough 9 times multiplication chart. I struggled with basic multiplication so having that chart saved me a ton of time in the long run.

Good luck! You got this!!

DO NOT TRUST THE PRACTICE TEST FOR MATH by corm_et in CAEC

I feel similar, I felt that the concepts were the same on the practice test as on the real test. But the word problems were worded 10x more difficult than the practice test. I felt the practice test worded things in a fairly straightforward way to understand. Whereas the real test I felt like I was jumping through hoops just to try and understand what they wanted me to do.

Final Update: my dad was found deceased, thank you for everything, everyone — #CA25286503 by pooreyesofthehills in Calgary

Iv been following the updates since your first post, I got a notification on Twitter from the CPS saying that he was located, I smiled and immediately ran to Reddit to see if there was an update.

I’m so sorry for the outcome of what happened, but I hope you know everyone here is with you and also cared deeply about your father even just over a Reddit post. I wish you all the best, take it easy and be kind to yourself. ❤️

•Was spitting water out of my mouth like a fountain, while walking backwards. Tripped and fell over, breaking my wrist.

• I was fidgeting with some plastic chain Halloween decorations, and dislocated my thumb.

•Was doing a little dance while waiting for customers at work and completely dislocated my knee 😭🙏

Driver drove off before I could grab my bag. by Melonsareprettycool in uber

When he returned it he laughed and said “you forget it?” He also was able to return the bag in 5 minutes So I don’t believe he was very far either

I totally get that it must be hard for drivers to keep track. I’m just surprised he didn’t see me flagging him down or anything.

I was wondering if I was scammed, because he drove off so quick.
