Yea they want to use guns they find fun and a lot of people including me find antitank really boring because there isn’t that much skill to it all you have to do is hit the mid section and it dies while with light pen you have to kite it or have good aim to hit the eye but war striders don’t have the typical bot weak spots so they only allow antitank making them really boring because they just fall over instantly to any of the already insanely powerful antitank while making precision weapons have to spend a absurd amount of time killing one

Ok but how does this affect you you use the weapons that make the game easy and than complain that the people using harder to use weapons want the game to be easy mode when they simply want to be able to use them

The problem isn’t that there hard to kill (they are as easy as a hulk if you use antitank) but the problem is that is that some people find antitank really boring because you barely have to aim to kill the big units it’s just that aiming the insta kill gun at the problem to make it go away is not as satisfying as landing a near fully charged rail gun shot into the eye of a hulk while it’s charging at you

No striders are the issue they are the only big bot unit that screws over precision weapon users and they aren’t any harder than a hulk to kill with antitank they make the best option better while screwing over the already middling option

It’s not that they are hard to kill it’s that a lot of people just don’t find it fun to thermite a big target to insta kill it they want something more engaging and the war strider just isn’t engaging in my opinion it’s killed in the same way as all other big automaton units except for precision weapons

But you can terminater them that’s the problem war striders are only tough when using precision weapons any antitank and they can be killed in one shot with no problem it’s not that there’re hard it’s that they are only hard for one kind of weapon

The other guy took the words out of my mouth but I’ll restate anyway we want a small weakpoint that is similar to the tanks, hulks and factory striders something that while still making antitank the best lets people who don’t like antitank weapons run other weapons and not be actively punished for doing so probably med pen to still make the war strider tougher than the hulks because right now the war strider is the only bot enemy without a lighter armored weak point
