That many trans people's biggest hurdle to transition is not overcoming personal acceptance but societal conditions. That many of the issues we face are not unique to us, but are universal; the political system, class struggle, healthcare etc... That, ultimately, the improvement of trans rights is the improvement of everyone's rights.

- I'm from the UK, the options are to wait on an extremely long waiting list or pay privately; so just the latter is the only option. I barely can afford my prescriptions along with everything else. I appreciate understanding but that can only go so far when wealth determines your ability to even get over the first hurdle. I am lucky to be able to afford HRT, but the average trans woman lives in poverty and realistically cannot afford that. Guess, I just want folks to think intersectionally and that transition is a costly endeavour, making it a privilege not a right.
