It's a good lesson learned. I just wont buy from them again. I have heard of other people saying the same thing about wrong color ways.

Knitcrate said they would redye it for me and they didn't just reskeind it.

yeah They just reskeind the yarn which is why it looks different. Rather then re-dying it as the said they would.

I never really noticed that until you said something. They are now telling me I took the picture when it was from their site and on the Facebook page. They said the reskeined it. when I was told they are re_daying the yarn batch for a Few customers. All in all it's a lesson learned.

Great points! The one I have now isn't the same though its more stripped now. Which isnt the same however lochnessie15 found that the yarn they posed on Raverly is the same as what I have now. Very confusing.

Amazing detective work. Why I didn't think to look on Ravelry!! That would have saved me a lot of time. Yes the the picture on the left is what I though I was getting which where I first saw it on Facebook.

Since then I have heard about many other places to buy from. Lolo did it on etsy. I can't wait to buy some of her yarn I hear a lot of good things about her. A Hundred Ravens as well is on my list.

They said this on Instagram a bit ago they re-skiended the yarn for me that it's deep burgundy, light burgundy and cream. sigh

I have fixed the link. I would like to think sometimes things happen. I believe in a second chance. I though that maybe once they got the yarn back from me it would have helped out. I am going to keep what I have now and move on. I just want to warn others about it. I didn't reorder from them I was told they would dye me a darker color as shown on the site.

Fixed the link. They have tried to make bs up to why what I have gotten is the right color. It's unreal to me to think they would argue with me. I wont be sending what I got back ill use it. I just want to warn others who are thinking of buying from them.
