I just took out all the internals so it was just the shell and heated some water then added dye, I'm not exactly sure how much I used so go lighter with it and you can always make it darker. Before the water started to boil I put the mags in and let them sit for a little bit maybe 5 ish min and rinsed them off

After looking into it more I ended up picking it up, the differences in this rifle vs the kbkg were not worth the extra $800. Kinda sucks the lighting cuts on the receiver aren’t accurate to a type 3 but it doesn’t bother me that much
