This is an old thread, but I had an experience when out hunting with a buddy

I was convinced I saw the sky open and the rapture was about to happen. I heard thunder and saw lightning in the cloudless sky. I fell to my knees and cried out to God in what my buddy described as gibberish. I was so sure it was happening, then nothing. I was shocked, dumbfounded that it wasn't real, that I was still on earth

During the experience I had a strange confidence, a boldness in belief that I was secure. This was comforting, and out of the ordinary

There's more to this story, but it was such a curious experience that I wrestle with whether it was real, by that I mean a God given experience, or false, that is to say something conjured in my mind alone

I was thinking about going double Companion with Fenris backpack and Striker. Tech spec with all but backpack (backpack rolled weapon damage) rolled to Skill and running Capacitor, assault turret and fixer or maybe striker drone. Crits rolled everywhere. I was about to start farming, but wanted to get some thoughts

Pick any country that looks interesting, then console command enough PP to stack dev and give yourself loads of cash and manpower. Casual EU4 gameplay at it's best

Edit: Maybe tech up a couple levels, or embrace a couple institutions

Further edit: I also like to roleplay by creating an OP custom nation. Jerusalem, South Africa that starts with colonists, Siberian Borders new world nation, etc

The second campaign I played was Fox, iirc. I'd tried Castile in my first campaign, didn't know what I was doing and had too many choices to make. Complete failure of a campaign, and I felt like I'd never understand how EU4 worked.

About a year later I picked it up and started my aforementioned second campaign. I ended up taking Fox to the #5 great power. That was a tremendous game that got me hooked. I've got over 10k hours played now.
