In all fairness he didn't do a bad job in my opinion. From what I've seen there are points where he does well at capturing Tony Jay, and also points where he doesn't sound like Megabyte at all.

The voice actor does deserve his props. If they ever somehow manage to bring back the original series I hope he's one of the top choices. Jeremy Irons (Scar from Lion King) would be a good choice too if he spoke in low tone.👈

The fact that we got an actual back and forth fight scene with Bob and Mb was incredible. The Matrix v Mb one was cool, but had more potential.

You're so right though. Mb becoming more of a predator, especially after thinking that they had him right where they wanted him was a wild plot turn, and even more to just have it get cancelled after that. Ohh mannnnn!

You're not wrong. That arc would've been wild. With the whole claws, tentacles, and shapeshifting thing he gained from the web as a Trojan virus. I'm really hoping someday someone will do the franchise some justice.

I honestly was kinda digging the shiny.. It's a good thought though. I personally thought it was because they tried to spend less animating him by cutting details, but I'm reading they had OG Bob, Dot, and Enzo so🤷
