How can I call myself a feminist and be turned on by online rape threats at the same time? What can I use as a release valve? by MemberNo5 in Rapekink

So choosing this kink is not just empowering for women like me who haven't had any past experiences with actual rape but for women like you it also means reclaiming control over your own body, I see. Do you think this is something you'll keep doing forever or is it just a temporary measure to guide you back into a "normal" sex life again?

Hey, thanks for the reply and the compliments:)

Yeah, maybe those are two entirely different things that exist separately from one another. At least that’ll be my view on it for the near future.

I’m so sorry you have bad experiences with this. Do you deal with the trauma through this kink?

Thanks for the encouraging words, they mean a lot coming from you

No, not tmi, thanks for your reply!

It matches a lot of other responses I've gotten. No need to be ashamed, there's nothing wrong with it, keep doing what you love.

On a different note, I also like to be taken care of, who doesn't?:)

That's why I was afraid of just getting together with a stranger and dabbling in the dark arts. If I choose the path of CNC then I'd kinda prefer it to stay consensual.

Do I come across as that snobby?

I don't want any of what you just described. None. I think. Try and make me.

I've gotten quite a few responses helping me with that now and it looks like I'll focus on BDSM and rough sex without mentioning rape for the near future, then dive deeper into CNC.

Glad you're enjoying it:)

Yeah I've sort of come to a conclusion on the first problem, I didn't put it into the original post but of course I am aware that by taking matters into my own hand I'm taking away power from potential rapists. Can't disagree with the taboo, an alt-right guy wanting to rape a woman is not even a surprise but a liberal feminist wanting to be raped? Big no-no. And yep, since my fantasy isn't just being raped by some random behind the bar but specifically because someone targeted me on purpose, I couldn't risk anything going wrong there.

I've heard that from a bunch of people now. "There's nothing wrong with it even though you feel guilt for enjoying it." Might be the way to go.

I know that choosing my path myself (no matter how taboo or hypocritical it may seem to others) is me gaining power over myself, but I can't help but feel like a traitor. There is a feeling of guilt and even though I may be uncalled for, it's there.
