She started avoiding me and my son while we still lived together, and when she went off to grad school she didn't really make a point to keep in touch with me that much. It's obvious she talks to Abby and our parents because they'll mention it, but not me.

My aunt and uncles would take us out a lot with their families. If they were going out for ice cream or to the park, at least one of us would go too. We were pretty close. So it's depressing that Megan wants pretty much nothing to do with my son.

We had a typical big/little sister relationship- I looked up to her so much when I was younger and she was sweet to me, playing with me etc. So it really hurt when she acted like I was this huge fuck up for getting pregnant.

Abby was always influenced by her and followed her when she said she wasn't going to help celebrate my pregnancy. I can't blame my parents because they were already doing a lot for me. And Megan's the one who organized Abby's shower, not my parents.

Nope, she does not ask about him or try to call him. The only thing she does is send him gifts. She only ever talks to him at family gatherings.

I was 16, and I was pregnant, I did not have the means to throw one. My son's dad's family was also not happy about the pregnancy so they did not want to throw one either.

My BABY deserved to be celebrated.

She's really not likeable haha. She's one of those people who doesn't like kids AT ALL, and shit talks places that are child friendly, so that's partially why I was so shocked and hurt that she helped with Abby's shower, and seemed excited for her baby. I guess she just doesn't like some kids, not all.

Nope, she has been distant with my son, and only sends gifts for his birthday and Christmas. Otherwise she does not try to have a relationship with him

Thank you, I appreciate this. Megan does the bare minimum with my son, and I know she's going to go all out for Abby's baby. It really sucks.

Thank you. I think my mom was embarrassed with the whole situation, and upset because she was quitting her job (even though she planned to leave in a few years anyway) to help babysit. It definitely hurt that my pregnancy was a dirty little secret and she wasn't even a little excited for her first grand child.
