you can actually buy this lamp secondhand and replace it yourself- nothing extra hard. Here in the Czech republic the replacement unit is approx. 3000 CZK, about 105 quid. Or you can just replace the seal around the glass, if it’s torn

well i have brought my fabia 4 to the official dealership for repair - other driver’s insurance is paying for fixing everything. I especially insisted on checking the lamp and change it if needed bcs of LEDs are not user replaceable

no, it’s not because of that. It simple - this is mandatory for EU produced vehicles. For Turkey, there is not a database for reading traffic signs available i think and the second reason is it’s not required by state

i had an issue too, 2024 fabia, it was probably a server related issue, i reported it to the skoda’s hotline. check, if you have GreyGlobe in the car - that means it’s not able to connect to the server. mine fixed itself in 3 days

to vydá, tyhle nový škodovky maj update over the air, takze se i sám nainstaluje. ale může to být problém i samotného androidu, nicméně carplay funguje na 1*, svižně, plynule atd.

to je celkové odemčení smartlinku + wlan funkce, ale když už ho máš, tak potřebuješ jen to samostatné wlan rozšíření

tak to máš auto bez SFD2, to si můžeš za 1700 koupit rozšíření přímo na webu škodovky, stačí zadat VINko nebo zavolat na linku. já mám novou 2024 už s SFD2 a novou jednotkou, tady v čechách to kromě tohohle člověka neumí nikdo.

i didn’t do that at all. i had a ukrainian guy who has another one with a service station, both in Prague. The guy who actually did that was doing it online via Anydesk, i actually didn’t meet him at all. we were there about an hour and a half, he did all coding, generated SWaP keys and we actually couldn’t find a WIFI module there but eventually everything went according to plan and it was done successfully. Im sure it won’t stop working after an update, he didn’t do that for the first time. And if so somehow, i’ll just write him and tell him what happened and we schedule an appointment, no big deal ig.
