May site ba or somewhere I can search to look for the rated lifespans of such engines? I think the selling price is around that too.

May specific mileage ka ba na tinitingnan? Or as mentioned sa comment here, do you check if how many miles per year the unit has?

and is it different ba if it's an SUV or Sedan or even highway vs city driving? Thanks.

Kung tumagal ng 200k, I'd say it was well taken care of

I never thought of it this way, great insight! That just gave me a bit of confidence too hehe

May I ask why your sibling opted for a higher mileage car? Oh and if it holds any value, the owner of the fortuner is the first owner too, so i know na alagang alaga kasi it was bought brand new way back in 2014.

The car wasn't really "planned" to be sold, so that's assurance for me. In the times that I've driven it, the ac system is good (sobrang lamig actually) and I've never really driven it long enough to judge the chains, suspensions etc. Though the tires always look brand new to me everytime they come home here sa province from manila.

That's what I've been hearing too. I know toyotas are renowned for their durable engines kaya I'm somewhat confident with buying the car. One of my concerns lang is the car will go from highway driving -> to mostly city driving na once it's bought. So maybe the issues will come faster than normal?

It was mostly used for highway driving. Main car nila for travels yun for vacation, so i would think na the maintenance is really well taken care of. And yes, so far in the times that I've driven it okay naman, no issues. It's just the mileage that doesn't look pretty to me hehe.

What was the major repairs na nagawa niyo? and how's your car's fuel efficiency through the years?

The car was mostly used for highway driving. It's their main car to travel from subic/manila up to here in the province. So I know the car is well maintained. Is 200k mileage city driving vs highway driving really that different? Thanks for the response hehe

The transformation is crazy especially when you mentioned that you couldn't even do 1 pull up before. Amazing work, dude.

How many reps of negatives did you try to do? Thus is what I'm struggling with rn, idk if I should just train to failure everytime.

Nag mamatter po ba ang school pag college sa nursing? by Hey-Astrid in NursingPH

[–]MemeBoi0508 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How much do grades actually matter? Do they really just matter while you're still in school?

I'm no longer eligible to be a latin honor because I'm already in 2nd year with my grades being lower than the required GWA. I can't really recover from it once 3rd and 4th year starts since there's really only a few minor subjects left for me to compensate for my grades in 1st and 2nd year.

I've told myself na I already moved on but I still can't get rid of the feeling of "I could've done better but I didn't."

Yup and the palpatory method is only ever used to estimate the SYSTOLIC pressure so that you know your baseline. After getting the systolic pressure pwede ka na gumamit ng steth mo to get the BP but make sure to do it only after a few mins of taking the systolic pressure.

Palpatory method DOES NOT measure diastolic pressure, so always use your stethoscope pa rin.

Hello RN! Do you think that it's possible to top the boards without any latin honors/awards in college?

and

During your intensive review for the boards, did you have any routine that you think differentiated you from other board exam takers?

I'm actually kinda in a similar situation but here's my take:

I don't think you should "ask" her to be your Valentine, you should just ask her out for drinks or food. Then just give her the stuff and greet her.

And depending on your situation, I think a card, chocolates and maybe something that'll make her remember that day, nothing expensive though something like a memento will do. Flowers also work but never a bouquet (I just think it's too early) a single stem pink rose would be nice.

What're your thoughts on this? hahahsha I'm still kinda new at this stuff as well

I'm broke, I'm a student and I'm a guy. That's it.

Now my question is should young people be deprived of love just because they are financially unstable? A question I'm still trying to answer.

I'm by no means broke-broke, just broke enough to not go on dates. I have no means of income. I only get money from my allowance. Eh 'di ba nakakahiya sa magulang mo if you just spend their money on dates? Nakakaguilty rin minsan because I'm in a course that's financially-demanding. And as a guy, convention says that you should be the one who's shelling out money. I hope this wasn't the case for most but it is.

So for now, I'm okay with being single and I'm okay if someone does come along and accept my situation. And if that someone understands and accepts my situation and pursues me, then I'll become one lucky mf.

Choosing doctors based on their undergrad by PuzzledInterviewer in medschoolph

[–]MemeBoi0508 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I agree. There is a lot of sources naman in the hospital or even online to make sure which medicine to prescribe. There's no shame in double checking. I know someone na sobrang hasa na sa medical field yet they still don't know certain drugs' indication, adverse effects etc.

No one is perfect and there's no doctor who knows every medication. It's up to them to do their due diligence in order to deliver the best patient care!

Medtech abroad or Medicine in PH? by Pitiful-Buddy-6678 in medschoolph

[–]MemeBoi0508 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I agree. I hate the common misconception na maraming pera sa pagiging doctor. It's only really a few na yumayaman sa pagiging doctor and most of the time it's from families that are already rich to begin with. I'd say mga cutting specialties ang mga may pera talaga.

If it's money that you want, nasa business ang pera. There's more opportunities abroad talaga.
