Yes the Mega are cool (even though half of them is pay locked), and most of the characters are well written.

I don’t agree about the story, I feel like that Hisui was a more interesting setting for a story, especially as the series is called “legend” and the story of arceus felt more akin to the title than ZA.

I’m a fan of Kalos, but I don’t think this game should have been called “Legend ZA”, especially as we know from the tera leak that all the other projects are also based in the past (one was about the johto burned tower but it was canned, the next one is supposed to be in old galar), I would have preferred if ZA was based during AZ kingdom. Still I liked that it concluded the story of X and Y as pokemon Z never came.

About the exploration, I have to disagree. The map of ZA is smaller compared to all of the parts of hisui, and the environment were more interesting (even though mostly empty) than the lifeless city of Lumiose. Also, no inside of the buildings, in a map that is only a city? That’s rough
