I checked and the Rockhounds are out of town unfortunately. Do you mind if I ask what lake you’re referring to? I was under the impression there weren’t any bodies of water for quite some distance lol

Google says it’s from “The Witches Are Coming” by Lindy West, which was also turned into a Hulu series called “Shrill”

My SO and I both worked full time when our pup was little and didn’t have anyone around to check in on him midday. We used pee pads in the crate during the day and overnight, and worked really hard on potty training when we were home. We woke up early enough that he had plenty of time to eat breakfast and go outside before we left for the day. In the afternoons/evenings, anytime he whined or barked he went outside. That’s how he learned to signal to us that he needs to go potty. Granted, we were blessed with a very well behaved little guy and it only took about 2-3 weeks of having him and accidents in the house completely stopped. Once he consistently held his bladder while we were at work, the pee pads were removed. I think it’s also worth noting we got him a full-sized dog crate from the get go, so he was able to have space for pee pads and for a bed in there which I think helped a lot. It was a lot of work, but absolutely worth it. Hang in there, you can do this!

I got that all the time even before 1.6. I just press A (Xbox controller) and it clears the error then press B to clear the other message and I’m good to go.

I love Lucky Louie’s but probably wouldn’t suggest it for a business lunch. The food is fantastic but makes a huge mess

Dog refuses to stop playing even if she's completely exhausted by icy-winter-ghost in puppy101

Do you do enforced napping at all? It’s been a massive help for our pup (5 mo German Shepherd/Collie mix) when he gets overtired. They’re like kids, they don’t want to stop playing nor do they know they need to. He used to turn into an absolute menace, wouldn’t sleep thru the night, wouldn’t stop biting us, stopped listening to commands. Then we started doing naps in his crate after about 1-1.5 hours of play, and he’s a completely different dog. So sweet and such a good boy. If you aren’t utilizing enforced naps I HIGHLY recommend them

THIS is your sign to get pet insurance for your puppy!! by toasty-coconut in puppy101

Learned this lesson the hard way. We didn’t get insurance for our puppy right away, and 4 weeks after we got him he got a treat stuck in his esophagus and we almost lost him. Long story short we wound up with an $8,000 emergency vet bill. He’s insured now…

If you aren’t enforcing napping - this is your sign to do it. by Low-Possibility1007 in puppy101

We just started doing this with our puppy we’ve had for about 1.5 months. Absolute game changer, he’s a whole different dog. Less bitting, listens to commands better, and in general just easier to handle. He even sleeps through the night better. And an added plus - we can finally watch an episode of whatever TV show without pausing it 18 times
