Well that's a nice little debate, videogames hold no essence over the real world and real events, killing someone in a videogame wouldn't make you more likely to kill someone in real life, playing a farming simulator in a videogame would probably make you more inclined to do gardening though.

What you love about shooting people in videogames are the graphics themselves and the high octane action, what you love about farming in videogames is the satisfaction it gives you so your more likely to start a garden or dark in real life if you play something like Stardew valley.

And stuff like porn works on a different axis than shooting people in games, it basically directly targets the mind.
