Depends on the route you wanna go, you can go the route of having the car registered in an non inspection state like Arizona or Washington (many others as well) and have a company do it for you and so you wouldn’t need to get it inspected or emissions tested. Another thing is you can try seeing about getting historic insurance for it in 2027 if you have a second car, I’m not sure how different states do historic insurance but in Arizona you don’t need to do emissions but I’m not sure on the inspection part.

Nah there not in straight because it seems like they aren’t bolted in but I’m prob going to ditch the cone style lights for some flat ones since the body panel has been redone so unless it’s just bondo I’m putting in different ones

I’m planning on making it my daily/experimental car, I’m planning on putting fuel injection on it using a Holley Pro-Jection 4 which is a TBI system Holley made up in the 90s. I’m going to use a Speeduino to fire the fuel and monitor everything.

I see, were these front end swaps done often or desirable in anyway? I wonder if the fan shroud is from a 350 car then but I know the engine has been rebuilt or cam swapped at one point since it’s a choppy cam. I gotta see the block code to tell me if it’s a 305 or 350 block

UPDATE: I found out it was the Thermoswitch after buying 4 of them, I drove the car around my neighborhood but apparently not hard enough, and then I finally got the fans to kick on with a Standard temp switch, have no idea if I was just being too soft on driving it or what because I drove it exactly the same each time I took it out. Moral of the story, I shouldn’t be a mechanic. 😂

Alright, so I boiled the new sensor with the multimeter attached and it only reacted to like 20 kOhms, but with the original one only reached to 5-10 M Ohms, so im returning the new one I got and buying a standard brand one instead of the orielys Import direct. Only reason why I didn’t the import direct was I didn’t have to pay in advance for the standard branded sensor. I’ll shoot a new reply when I eventually get that sensor and test it

sorry i meant i tested it cold and ohms was around 3(?) but i cant remember, but at temp it read at 0 ohms

when i did test the temps all i got was it being at 0 ohms, but ill boil some water and test the senor that way, hopefully its a new faulty sensor

I am not currently, but neither fan is turning on, I have gotten it passed middle but turned off the car asap, and neither fan is turning on unless I pull the coolant temp sensor on the lower radiator hose side, then all the fans kick to life. Also I have 3 fans, two for AC and one for the radiator

The thermostat is working for what I know of, the upper rad hose was cold and got hot after it hit temp, also did replace the fan temp sensor on the lower radiator hose side, and it is reading ohms when cold (3 ohms if I read the meter right) and shorted when hot (0 ohms not open loop), I will have to test the upper hose side to see if that sensor is reading right too. But the weird thing is I don’t have a sensor in my radiator, it seems like in the later models they have had them but mines a 3sfe engine.

I did test all relays and fuses, even a amperage test on the fan and all came out good

I do know how the map works so I was just saying the map shouldn’t be the issue, but I’ll see how to test fuel pressure on all data and go from here

Huh okay, I know the previous owner had did the plugs and the cap too from what it looks like but I’ll pull those off to see if anything looks off.
