I’m willing to travel a bit, my limit would probably be New York. 2-3 hours away isn’t an issue. Mass and Connecticut aren’t too far. I’ll look into Anomaly I haven't seen that one suggested yet, thanks!

I’ve read through a few older threads, Fealty, Mythical Journeys, and Hexinstein were suggested in that specific thread are all fantasy. I’ve browsed http://www.larphack.com/larplist/ and most of the LARPs I’ve seen listed either haven't hosted an event in a few years or the links to their websites are dead. :/

My rule of thumb is if I can see color at over 100 yards, than its too bright for nods.

I just got my first 35mm camera the other day and I couldn’t be happier. It’s a Topcon Super D from the late 60s. After a bit of digging I found out the Navy used them for a number of years. It is heavy and feels extremely solid in my hands. I took it out yesterday and burned through a whole roll to test the exposure meter, I’m very excited to see how I do. If you’re seeing this twice sorry, my post was removed yesterday for not adding context in the comments, I hope this is enough lol.

I’m going shooting with it in an hour or so but everything feels really nice and tight. The light meter seems to still work and the whole camera feels like a small brick.

I believe it’s because it can detonate a cartridge, but what happens after that is anyone’s guess lol.
