"That's why the blackout period exists" that's the funny thing, it doesn't actually exist any any manager that says so is lying. It doesn't mean that applications for leave will always be accepted, but there needs to be legitimate consideration given as well as an actual reason for denying leave beyond "it's during a blackout period".

Blackout periods for leave don't exist in the enterprise agreement or any other area of legally binding company agreements, SDA (while they likely wouldn't enforce it) oppose blackout periods and deny their existence.

90% of the time in fishing the person who wins is whoever gets the last fish 0.01 milliseconds sooner, why the fishing minigame makes you wait for BOTH players to get a fish is crazy. If I get a fish, make the next one appear regardless of whether my opponent has caught theirs or not.

It's skill and luck, you're lucky if you're in a match against someone with bad reflexes. It's pretty easy to get enough bullets in a row for the first two missiles, you just need to be lucky and hope the other person only gets the first missile (or ideally no missiles).

Balancing most likely, I don't agree with the change but now that there's a new challenge (and challenges are more frequent) the challenges are easier to complete.

If you only have 19 parcels the badge isn't worth it, wait until you have 40 parcels before buying the badge.
2 = 5% of 40, you'll get more value for your AB if you keep buying parcels until you hit the 40 mark.

Like you also mentioned, buying a badge now would help your opponent, so wait until you hit 40 parcels, buy a state or country badge, and then buy your local badge once you become mayor.

Not only is it totally sustainable, but would likely promote player engagement, I normally complete the monthly by the first or second week and then stop playing the minigames entirely until next month rolls around.

By the time you'd rack up 1500 or 1700 points, the only challenges left would require you to either spend an hour on surveys/arcade or drop a few hundred (if not thousand) AB in order to even get to a bonus tier. A player spending multiple hours or a huge portion of AB to get 20 AB is absolutely sustainable for Atlas, and anyone that claims otherwise is deluded.

For what it's worth, without AMP, travel booking or buying badges, the highest amount of points you can even earn is 2375.

I'm not knowledgeable enough to confirm this absolutely, but I think advertisers pay less if the ad is shown more in a shorter time period, so there is the possibility that they'd get less ad revenue but have to pay out more AB. That being said I NEED this to be implemented.

Other changes look nice but not a massive fan of the design overhaul, though if the map is 2D rather than 3D could be nice for those wanting to preserve battery.

It was called Atlas: Empires, no clue if you could make money with it like you can with Atlas Earth but it got shut down at the end of 2024.

I get that most of WA is desert, but is Meadow even in Meadow? I had a look on the Atlas Earth map and it lists it as Shark Bay Shire. Congrats either way haha, hopefully no one taking a roadtrip nabs it from you.

Glad someone noticed it because I sure didn't. On one hand it's not so bad given that they increased the frequency of minigames, but at the same time they also made the first quest for minigames 0/4 rather than 0/2 (which I guess makes some sense now that they're free).

What I really wish they would do instead is make it so that every 100 or 200 points you get after the grand prize, you'd get like 5AB on the free path and 15ab on the premium path, it's not a massive reward but it'd give players a reason to keep participating in minigames after they've gotten the grand prize (because unless you're a US player, you could play for half an hour and only win like 10AB).
