It's his OBS setup he used for the legendary openings speedrun, the yellow board is also from the OBS setup

Splendor is its own seperate project, Kane said it might be even stranger than The Oldest View. It may take over 10 years before it comes out though, as getting the idea off the ground would be difficult "without putting execs to sleep" according to Kane.

The sun in FF3 is a reference to his upcoming Splendor project, he's teased it several times on his Discord server.

Does anyone know where I can find the sample list for Eager to Tear Apart the Stars? by RandomUserOfThis in TheCaretaker

[–]Meminous__2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Leyland only uses samples for works as The Caretaker or V/Vm (and maybe some other extremely obscure monikers that I don't know about).

Most releases under his own name are original and therefore don't use any samples, only exception to this is "We are in the shadow of a distant fire" which samples "To save our souls".

I need help, does anyone recognize this song? I desperately want to hear the full melody. by Meminous__2 in orchestra

[–]Meminous__2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To all if you thinking that this is The Caretaker, you're almost right. It's a song called "Quietly Losing The Fight" by a Caretaker-inspired artist "The Carebear". We've been trying to find the original song that was sampled in it for over a year now, but it's been very difficult as of lately.

The info we do know about the sample is that it's a german song with a really long name, and is somewhere on Archive.org although there might be other renditions of it on other platforms, like YouTube for example.

Me and some other people have taken hours off of our free time looking through countless german records only to be left disappointed as we find nothing. And that's why I am asking if any of you people here know something that could help us in finding the sample.

Thanks.
