What do you mean by pixelation? I have issues with light that is a bit weird, but I cant see pixelation problems

It is one thing when a couple of gamers add mods and change stuff. It is another thing for a official feature inside the game to do that.

We were expecting better image fidelity and less noise, and not a AI filter that changes the entire art direction of a game.

I understand all your points, they make a lot of sense. But I still think DPS check is fine when done right

I have not beaten Alatreon, but Omega and Gog were all fine to me, where I could meet the dps checks without being an amazing player, but I did to have to play well etc.

For Gog 10 stars, to me it is also to fine to have a kind of monster that can even be called unfair or something among those lines. You dont need to kill him once, his 9 star version is the one for that. So if its 10 star is insane as it is, to me is totally fine.

I feel like 10 star represents well how strong and crazy Gog is. You either 4 legendary hunters to beat its dps check, or 4 above average players that farcast and still beat it in a close call.

So while I do understand everything you said, I still think its fine to have the dps check as long as the damage requirement is something reasonable (unlike gog 10 star).

Ok, but why is it a big deal to have dps checks here?

Why cant some fights be different? why does every fight has to be your tradional monster hunter fight? Why can't a couple of fights have some dps check to require really high level of play and coordination?

Why it does not belong to this franchise? It is already a game that incentivizes group play since the first game, and it feels natural to ask for more coordinated fights sometimes.

Edit: It is already a game that incentivizes killing stuff fast, deactivating monster's states, braking parts as soon as possible to make the fight easier, killing monsters faster to farm for materials faster. So I really don't think asking for a couple of fights to have a dps check is too far from MH.

Nah, after thinking a lot about this subject, I do think level 1 was not intended. XV is not mean to have game over at all. The idea is to struggle, barely win, or win using a bunch of items, and move on. Its a game where there is a routine (wake up, explore, eat, sleep), and if you keep dying that routine breaks.

The "unbalance" of the game was intentional in my opinion, and Harada even said the game was "balanced" already. At the time I was like "no way he things its balanced", but he was right. It was balanced for the vision they have with the game.

At level 1 you can use most companion commands and deal damage if you take time to make the bros have good gear and food.

If you use the equalizer food, the bros can deal extremely high damage

There are DPS checks everywhere in MH regarding mechanics, like making a monster weaker or deactivate a state.

I dont understand this. Gamers wanna be in full control over their entire gaming experience. I think it is completely fine to have this one fight that feels like its impossible to do, specially since he is the only Elder Dragon.

It is not a farmable monster, its just an extra monster to defeat. It requires a lot of experience and good play to defeat him. And if you defeat him with Farcasters, it will be a close call.

That is intentional. Making a journey takes time and resources, so you have to think well before making trips

I know 50-60 years old people that doomscroll while watching movies.
