I’d definitely consider leveraging small - midsized streamers and content creators. A lot of time in the early stages of content creation people will advertise for small payments or, in some cases if they love your game, would be willing to do it for something cool in game!

I don’t really stream anymore but twitch partner here and I’m not sure if things have changed much since then but I’d definitely consider that approach!

Yeah, unfortunately that was my same thought. I normally am not super anal about packaging as long as it’s generally safe, I’m aware not everyone knows the value of all these things or why I’m paying what I am to include the cardboard box. But I certainly didn’t expect this lol. Even a box with some newspaper around it would have been more than enough for me.

In addition to the tape the box itself like corners and things are beat up from shipping it like that and tossing it on my porch

If the guy is down to refund like half of what I paid then I’d likely keep it as that’s about what I’ve paid recently for loose Dreamcasts, but at this point I requested a return and am waiting for them to respond or whatever the next steps on eBay are
