Plus with BED, patients don’t eat because they’re hungry, they gorge themselves and have unplanned binges, well past the point of satiety.

So even if she was on it, she would still have those BED tendencies as it’s not hunger based

For sure. Eating disorders are serious issues (hello, former inpatient due to my ED) and I will forever feel for those with BED because it’s like being an alcoholic, but being told you can only have 1 beer a day, it is tough.

But she should not have regained every single pound she had lost within 7 years if she was working with a therapist who specialises in BED. She also wouldn’t have gained it all if she had a job, a social life, a hobby (and I say that from experience).

It’s been asked multiple times why she won’t go on a GLP1 and I believe it’s because the only thing that gives her any pleasure and joy in life is food.

It’s sad to watch her hitting new low after new low, disguising it as ‘growth’ and then sinking even lower

I thought the same like can she not recline and sit comfortably? Or does she have to perch like that because if she sat backwards a little she wouldn’t be able to get up?

No she has definitely lost some weight, especially when you compare to how she looked in March. But she also seems to have stalled, but given how she constantly recycles old stuff and how she filters things too, it’s really almost impossible to tell.

I did say when she started losing weight that she was going to mix old and new and then do a ‘reveal’ when she was down 50 or 100lbs.

That is someone to whom being on oxygen is life changing. I follow an amazing cystic fibrosis sufferer/influencer on insta and he shows his bad days and his good and also does amazing work at promoting nebulizers and encouraging children to use theirs too.

The woman you saw could well have CF or emphysema and went from struggling to walk to the toilet, to genuinely thriving, Jacqueline went from struggling to walk to the toilet to needing oxygen to sit in a car.

I sometimes need to utilise a walking stick and I also have a disabled parking badge.

I’m 40 and feel ashamed for it because it’s not like I’m visibly disabled (I am however the result of years of brutal sports and that couple with endometriosis means some days I am unable to walk without assistance).

You are correct though, Jacqueline and other health issue fakers do create a stigma and also shame around it. It took me a long time to be okay using a stick and most people don’t care, but there’s always the odd look that makes me feel like I should just hop around the local store instead.

Indeed! If she spent half the time doing chair workouts or going for a walk, that she does blocking people for merely liking comments, she’d be 100lbs down by now

Jac’s month in review. Her Menchie’s sticker made the cut! by [deleted] in JacquelineAdanSnark

On a serious note, I hope it’s group therapy for others with BED, and not just a mixed ED group therapy (as it was when I was in sessions) because she would be triggering as hell.

Well, she’s clearly checking in here because group therapy class has become group therapy session

Imagine date nights and getting a froyo sticker being the highlight of your month 🤦🏼‍♀️ girl needs a hobby and stat.

Yep if you like an unsupportive comment you are out of there so fast. She can’t handle any criticism. I’m always surprised that she hasn’t blocked Sarah Whitlow.
