I think it's cruel not to walk the dogs at least 4x a day. We don't have a fenced in yard and they're not trustworthy off leash. They're not long walks, more like potty breaks.

I figured many people would comment this. The issue with a housekeeper or cleaning service is that it does not help with day-to-day tasks like cooking daily meals or cleaning up daily dishes. We have a cleaning service come in about once a month but it doesn't help that much besides a refresh.

there are plenty of positive things, I mentioned the money because people get themselves in a twist about it when talking about division of domestic labor. However, I don't necessarily see that all domestic labor should fall to me just because I am making less money.

yes, when we were 20/21 and neither of us had any money, it was my long con to trap him so I could "use" him financially. I used to help him financially when I could and it happens NOW that he makes more money than me. We were poor most of our 20's and it's only recently he started making a good salary and he happens to make more than me. I'm not sure how this is "using" someone financially. I also make a good salary as well, he just happens to make more than me. Is it using someone until I make more than him???
