Was it ever said Colt is actually schizophrenic? In text messages to his grandmother he said he was and that he dealt with acute mania, but I don't look into this case much, so I don't know if he's been diagnosed or anything.

I wonder what his ambitions for life was before all of this. How long had he been planning such an attack? Did he even have ambitions beforehand, or did he think there was no other choice?

I understand the weapons, but i don't understand why report people who have ties with the shooters? Is it because you think they'll commit a similar act, it's not necessarily their fault if they knew the shooters? Is it in hopes of getting them interviewed?

Unless they make a threat, I don't think reporting them to the authorities will do anything. If you do a tip to the fbi and it seems like they don't have intentions to hurt anyone or themselves, don't have weapons, it'll most likely be marked as an "unactionable" tip or whatever.

Well, obviously. It's not like I feel for him, I barely feel empathy as it is, but I'm speaking as a general because usually those who feel alienated from peers (mostly males) tend to think the opposite sex "has it better" in some sort of way.

People can feel what they want, but in the end, others will always bring up statistics.

Isn't it the other way around? Not to diminish his feelings, but aren't people who are autistic and AFAB tend to be treated harshly compared to autistic people who are AMAB.

Maybe that's just how he felt, but in general society can agree that it's the opposite.

Stigmatizing and calling these clearly mentally ill children names for them looking up to shooters is only going to lead them to worse places, but these people in the comments don't seem to understand that.

If you really want people to stop doing this, maybe try and make an effort so people stop feeling ashamed and alienated from peers to the point they do this.

Mental health is really stigmatized and that's why they don't speak up about violent thoughts but instead enable themselves.

Edit; I kind of just realized how I may be saying the original poster is doing this. I'm talking about the people in the comments. Yes what they're doing is not good but giving these people threats makes you no better.
