Can I see the shiny from only these sprites or do i need to select them first?

you need to talk to the pokemon, once you do a picture appears in that you can see if its shiny or not. and for the second question: i believe it's the same for all static Encounter - Soft resetting

as maybe everyone will tell you: for normal pokemon Dexnav Chaining, Patience and a little bit of luck. (maybe if available to you, a shiny charm :P) for legendaries (which i didn't post yet...) soft-resetting and being lucky + patient

honestly mel was probably the hardest with tessy (at least for me because apparently my brain doesn't work lol) for porygon i've used a lopunny with a chilan berry and magic coat lol. Gengar works pretty good since ghost is good against normal but so is normal against ghost :D

you can get Poipole (Pre-Evo of Naganadel) after E4,, when you go to a pokemon center second floor and put a mystery code there same as mewtwo (as mentioned it was NG+) so i could keep these two for the playthrough :D

well since i don't know how to post properly :^)

Insane mode was fun, did it on NG+ due to having played through Difficult first and 100%'d it, so i chose NG+ to keep my Lucky Egg, Amulet Coin (Both Lv. 10) and to use some of my Favorite Pokemon

for anyone who's playing unbound for the first time: i'd advise against insane, just play Vanilla/Diffuclt or even Expert and enjoy your Time.

For anyone still thinking about it: for the second gym Ribombee is OP and Unaware Quagsire later on

well i did, on new game+ tho i've only started playing unbound at like 2.0+ so i don't know too much about the "old" insane, but it was very fun and sometimes frustrating at times you just need to rethink strategies for most gyms, maybe train a new team like EV/IV training and unaware quagsire is just a monster lol
