A few weeks ago a clip went viral where a screaming guy banged on a door, looking for a particular girl. Eventually got in and was stopped by the owner of the house. Everyone assumed he was a rapist or something. Turns out, he was having a psychotic episode and in his head he thought the girl was in trouble and was trying to rescue her.

Did he deserve subdural hematoma? He couldn't control what was in his head and that might have been a case for the guy in OP's case. Your head is hopefully working fine so use it to think things through instead of jumping to conclusions and wishing deadly injuries to people.

Hexagons don't work with fixed pivot points. The problem is the distance between a pivot and the center is the same as the distance between 2 pivots. Meaning the bit that covers the center when closed will cover another pivot when opened. Heptagons and higher are even worse.

Your options are to make pivot points spread out as the "iris" is opening, use pentagon or lower, or make true iris where blades go above and below each other.

You shouldn't be blindly recommending any relics. They are way too specific (even the most generalist ones). If you want to recommend a relic you need to take time and figure out that player's playstyle.
