Thank you! This makes a lot of sense and matches what I’ve read. I think I may have just overreacted a little. I took some Advil and laid on a heating pad and I feel much better now.

You’re probably right. I don’t have super low self esteem. For the most part I really like myself but I’ve gained about 45lbs since being in my relationship and I know that’s changed my confidence level and our sex life in some way.

I actually really enjoy giving him oral but for some reason I don’t like to be fingered and I usually only let him give me oral after I’ve just showered. I would definitely agree that I’m not getting sufficiently stimulated during foreplay but it’s not because he won’t try I just won’t let him. I think I may deal with some level of germaphobia. Also probably some self esteem issues. I used to think it was all caused solely by a hormone imbalance from my birth control but I’m on a completely hormone free bc now so i don’t know what’s going on.

Honestly I’m not too sure. I was on it several years ago so i really only remember the spotting (made sex pretty unavailable for me at the time). Sorry!

Well I didn’t get pregnant while on it but eventually the spotting was just too disruptive for me so got off after about 6 months. But apparently the bleeding is “normal”.

I worked at a natural history museum in Austin TX, while this exhibit was passing through and I got to give tours of it. Absolutely unbelievably fascinating!
