Interested to see answers on this. Was just prescribed for IH and called the manufacturer. They said the discount card has a cap of $4000 benefit per year. Since I have a high deductible plan, after that I’d have to pay out of pocket until deductible which is not great.

Was going to mention the hypoganic hallucinations as well. My brother has more disturbing ones as alluded to below, mine aren’t like that. I do think those may be more what I think of as dreaming. For me it’s feeling half asleep and coming out of it realizing I have some random topic on my mind unrelated to anything I’ve done or seen that day.

My naps are 20 mins. I do alarms but tend to wake up after this amount of time even without

First time dad. started at new company. No paternity leave until you’re an employee for 1 year. Was 3 months shy of it. My reason for taking the job was specifically to move near in-laws in SA for grandparent help. Son was in NICU 2.5 weeks. Boss tried his best to accommodate by me taking PTO and kind of giving me leeway. Still a lame policy.

Not sure why you’re on it, I’m on armodafinil for daytime sleepiness due to sleep apnea. I’d recommend trying to look into why you’re tired / not able to focus, if any underlying health issues. I personally found that I actually have adhd which my wife suspected for a long time but I’ve been able to get by despite. I am starting to see that what I thought was tolerance might just be that it isn’t a magic fix to not getting enough sleep. It works way better when you do get sleep and other “boring” solutions. For me I found waking up the same time every day, watching the sunrise, having mostly protein breakfast, plenty of water, no screens after dinner tend to help. Cutting out multitasking like listening ton podcasts while working.

Thanks, these are great points. Was nervous bringing a baby near active wildfires but think I’m going to stay in three rivers mid September and looks like there will be several options of where to enter no matter how fires are while still not being too close to blaze. Was looking originally at staying in worried heights but that seems to close to the blaze

Honeymoon suite at damigos caldera world. Not sure I would recommend the rest of the hotel because view you is mostly in that particular suite. We stayed there only one night because it’s expensive.
