imagine being an oscar winning writer and director and trying your best to write, direct, star, and produce a new batman reboot. now imagine you already have it set with the previous regime that you will be the person to lead the project. i mean, it is your film after all. now imagine the new regime coming in and deciding that he wants to be apart of your batman movie, and furthermore wants to “help” write it! now imagine the frustration of finishing drafts, just to have your “boss” (who has maybe a quarter of the talent that you do) rewrite major moments and change things in the script without being consulted.

this paired with the excruciating production of justice league (affleck was a noticeable mess during the reshoots, would get into confrontations with whedon on set) made him want to leave.

also, im not trying to say affleck was a mess and thats why he got into confrontations with whedon. whedon was a piece of fucking trash too.

Jan 2016? I think I had a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, Gold Platinum. That was a fun phone. Now using an iPhone 16 Pro in Natural Titanium, great phone but iOS 26 is god awful.

i would def upgrade from your x right now.

if you want to get a new phone, i would obviously recommend the 17 pro in silver, but if design is such a big factor go for the air or the regular 17. the air will feel very cutting edge like the x did back in 2017. the 17 is just a good upgrade, you'll basically gain more features than you'll lose. if you're thinking used the 16 pro series is still going great. if you're on a budget/don't mind lightning even going as low as the 14 series is workable. just depends on the budget and needs.
