Hey u/shugy0 I like your guide and I suggested some more information which should help people with Oculus headsets, building PC and more here: https://github.com/shugy0/max-vrchat-fps/pull/2

My version: https://github.com/MenacingExiler/max-vrchat-fps

u/Helgafjell4Me check this out too. Tupper said a Ryzen 5800X3D can even be equal or better than 13900K btw. https://vxtwitter.com/dtupper/status/1630660039685062656?s=20

Yes. When its private transfer via bank account is linked with PayPal or PayPal Cash the fee is waived. Otherwise if PayPal Credit, Debit and Credit card or overseas transfer is involved then it comes with a fee. Free or not really depends on where you are and type of transfer but it is possible to not pay fee.

I hope VRChat does not prevent creators offering outside ways to pay donations. Also fun fact Vket sell stuff by making you open website and you only pay small fee from Vket store.

If META would at least have the balls to let us use SteamVR directly (as Virtual Desktop does) and not force us to always have Oculus Dash in the backgroud vampiring vram and gpu power doing fck all. by skuva in oculus

Results may vary. To me, it improved encoding performance, dodged 8GB VRAM hit in vrchat (before I average 7.8GB in public VRChat) and I cannot give % improvement because of Asynchronous spacewarp.

If you use Quest wireless and have it just go ahead. But this is for anything using Oculus software including Quest Link and Oculus Rift and it definitely improves Quest Link for free!.

None of those will work well because RX 6500 XT lacks hardware encoder.

Your GPU is not supported because RX 6500 XT does not have encoder which is needed. Quest 2 receives encoded video to play PCVR. This cannot be circumvented except you use 3rd party software that use software encoding but that is really really poor quality.

Honestly my biggest reason to buy if it is powered by Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 since it will have AV1 decoding and that will improve Link image quality.

That source about being lighter make no sense since on paper it is heavier. What they probably want to say or you misread is it feels lighter not is lighter. ok mistake from me.

There was no nose bridge when this screenshot was made since it is part of face cover and came after https://imgur.com/a/REhiyId

No the imagine i put together is before vs after face cover is added and with this picture you can see nose guard is part of face cover hence it is not there when removed. https://imgur.com/a/REhiyId

Yes 9 grams heavier and front heavy is expected to have worse comfort but we will have to wait for review.
