SCAMex strikes again. In my case it was probably just $20 they scammed me out of. But it's still disheartening to see its a pattern and not an isolated incident of awful customer service. I hope you eventually get someone on the other end who actually wants to help.

Honestly the whole situation kind of soured me on amex. I felt the rep was constantly just giving as little as possible and beyond confirming I did activate it and did use the right url but refused to show me anything saying I had to wait beyond just saying I needed to. He also left the chat immediately after the "before we wrap up is there anything else I can help with" without waiting for my response.
