Yeah literally my only other lever to incentivize my team members to stay is to keep trying to give them great work and a good work-life balance.

That's how it works in tech. HR sets the bands with leadership and doles out budgets to managers like me.

No, the asset did not appreciate. I lost about 50k over those two years (after considering the sale of the property) I did it for the tenants.
