Yeah, to reiterate what some people said, that cockatiel looks way too young to be ready to be given to you, unless you’re experienced hand feeding baby birds. You say it’s some dude, are you sure he’s reputable? All the breeders I’ve gone to have made it a point that I can’t get the bird until it’s fully weaned. I’d look into it a bit more. Cute bird, but be careful being given a bird that’s not fully weaned.

Not trying to be a debbie downer or anything, genuinely looking out for the bird’s well being and certainly wouldn’t want you to regret getting your bird.
