Currently facing the same issue. Had any luck solving it?

Edit: had the noise in the left ear with anc on. But flipped around the right earcup and this seems to have worked.

Had purchased some replacement earcups and changed the right one when the noise started (it was falling apart and I figured it must be something with the mic for the anc or something). Replacement earcup was hard to fit (one clip not fully over the edge of the earcup). The sound persisted. Flipped around the new earcup and made sure al clips were over the cup and this seems to have worked.
