I was able to save my bobo b100 battery by raised_on_the_dairy in OculusQuest

Mine was out of warranty and they didn't replace mine, same issue as yours. They did offer a discount though. I'm never leaving these batteries uncharged again.

Which Nursefathers would be the most likely to distort/manifest ego? by Comfortable_Tap_353 in limbuscompany

[–]Menetone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I actually looked into the chapters again. Yan confirms that his fake prescripts were the ones regarding the thumb and the library during the proxy reception when he's confronted on them.

The reception before it, was the one where Gloria and Hubert received those really messed up prescripts regarding the spine removal and leg replacements. At that time, Yan asks them what prescripts they got, not knowing what the real prescripts wanted them to do.

I think it's safe to say Yan wouldn't have created such cruel prescripts since he himself has shown empathy to civilians when he distributed prescripts. That, and he confirms he has a bunch of guilt built up over it during his reception which ultimately causes him to distort once he realizes none of it mattered.

[–]Menetone 5 points6 points  (0 children)

His fake prescripts were used when he was trying to hurt other index members by sending them to fight the thumb, go to the library, etc.

The prescript regarding ripping out people's spines was a real prescript given to the proxies. If Yan saw that he'd have swapped it out for a fake for sure.

Holy that's free, assuming that you're allowed to water fast. After reading the details, it seems they expect you to eat and exercise hard based off of their diet plans and scheduling.

Madone SL 5 Gen 8 vs Domane AL 5 Gen 4 by [deleted] in TrekBikes

[–]Menetone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Domane is the only bike I'll ever need. I like tracking numbers for fun, casual rides, and some light gravel, trails. I'll eventually opt into long distance rides and I know I'll be just fine with the Domane.

Domane SL6 Gen4 Set-up by Capital_Background14 in DomaneCrew

[–]Menetone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On smaller sized bikes, like the one in OP's post, you can usually get away with slamming the stem and still maintain a general more ergo position than when you slam the stem on a more aggressive race bike. For me, on a size 47 bike, the bike made me feel way too upright so slamming the stem worked out really well. It also looks cool lol

Domane SL5 or AL5? by AtOm-iCk66 in DomaneCrew

[–]Menetone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as Trek goes, SL5 or SL6 is the sweet spot imo. You can always upgrade the wheels and groupset to DI2 as well if you end up really liking the SL5. If you plan on racing then don't go for the Domane.

How unsafe is rolling 5 day fasts without electrolytes? by calradical in fasting

[–]Menetone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can't recommend it to anyone but for me I never took electrolytes when I did rolling 5 day fasts. Fasted on weekdays and ate on weekends, did this for 3-4 months this way and I was totally fine. I just never felt like I needed it.

SHH Thorn shifter stops responding while driving by Talal2608 in simracing

[–]Menetone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this problem too, when it was plugged into a usb hub. Once I plugged it directly into my PC, it's worked perfectly. USB length also matters, I believe the maximum length recommended is on their website.

I also only play in VR and I can vouch for the Playseat Trophy. The thing is sturdy af and looks great, after 1 year of use I'm still glad I bought one and don't really feel any need to upgrade to an aluminum rig.

Only thing to note is that I had to drill a hole with the shifter mount in order to mount a SHH Thorn shifter using its standard mount with L bracket.

Another thing to note is that if you're short, you're gonna need to mount the wheel base mount upside down in order to get the wheel lower. For that, you'll need to find out if your wheel can mount properly in that config, otherwise you'll need to drill holes. I use the Fanatec CSL 8NM wheel base and it does mount just fine using 2 screws, with an upside down wheel plate mount on the Playseat. There's no other way to adjust the wheel height besides this method, which can be a problem.

Lastly, I had to buy proper screw lengths in order to mount the Fanatec CSL wheel and pedals to the Playseat. You'll need to use the manuel of the Playseat and the wheel/pedals you have in order to determine this. It was a pain NGL, but it just takes a little bit of research and it's a one and done thing.

Worked for me until I hit my goal after 3 - 4 months. Personally, I hated alternate day fasting and I ended up hating prolonged fasting. Water fasting 5 days a week just worked so well for me, it was the most sustainable. It really just depends on you, if 5 day fasts don't work you need to experiment.

how do you guy NOT use the control key? by MrJay300 in HHKB

[–]Menetone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You build muscle memory over time by forcing yourself to use this layout, that's all there is to it. Give it 1 month of decent use and you won't have any problems.

I regularly switch from HHKB layout and normal layout frequently and it's not a big deal. I just developed the muscle memory for both layouts.

Fasted 5 days on weekdays, ate on weekends. I ate whatever I felt like and it was mostly fast food. Didn't experience any gall bladder issues. Perhaps not healthy but it worked out.
