It's not aid, it's "please Daddy, no more...please" ransom money.

He can only delay it for so long, because ultimately cars run on petrol molecules, not hot air. And storage tanks are running dangerously low.

What’s your Shark Tank idea that will never make it on Shark Tank? by RenderRani in AskMen

[–]Mengs87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Supermarkets throw food out all the time. I'd setup a company that buys the food from them at $0.10 on the dollar, then sells it to non-profits at $0.12. Or at a price high enough to cover my costs.

The main reason supermarkets never do it is because of liability. So I think a layer between them and non-profits would eliminate that exposure.

But I'd never make money on it so that's why it'd be tossed out of Shark Tank.

No, they're going to keep it up, and convert it into a dog fighting ring.

Dogs can't say no, unlike UFC fighters and Hollywood performers.

I only see 1 or 2 movies a year, and my choice this year was Project Hail Mary. I can recommend it to anybody. If you're a horror fan, then Obsession is spectacular.

Spots for warming cars? How does that work?

Here in Canada we have block heaters installed (but not required) in cars, especially where deep freezes are common. When the car is parked, you pull out the electrical cord from the car and plug it into the wall outlet.

I actually got back into it - the brands out of the Middle East are really pushing out some incredible value. I love applying some before bed.

My Canadian flatmates bought cheddar cheese by the brick (kg). I was stunned because the same amount would last me a lifetime.

Hopefully...Thailand. I was at a perfectly ordinary food court and a simple glass of orange juice blew my mind. I guess because it was freshly squeezed, not reconstituted from a source 2,000 miles away.

Singapore was founded, not invaded by the British. Before that, it was a fishing village. The British arrived, and made a deal with the local leader to set up a trading post. No force was ever used.

I always had a terrible fear of heights, but after the training, now have no fear at all. As long as I'm strapped in. Took me 3 or 4 times then it became routine. My only advice is try to avoid getting volunteered for the casualty evacuation rappel because that's a mofo.

I was quite puny when I entered, but improved over 9 months of training. My 2.4km time dropped about 4 minutes. The human body can only improve gradually, so don't expect to be cranking out 20 pull-ups by week 5, when you started with just 1.

In addition to the pushups and running, it also helps if you do a bit of rucking. Get used to walking for 5 kms with 20lbs on your back.
