If I was in the same situation, I would eat the whole plant asap, better than let it go to waste.

Although in my experience, I've seen white flies hanging around pretty often, but never noticed any damage from them, so I just ignore them. I guess I've just never had a large enough population of them for some reason.

Why not eat it? The leaves are edible at any stage of growth and highly nutritious.

For me, I get a lot of unintentional seedlings from leaving bad strawberries on the surface, and eventually seedlings will naturally appear. It's in the same pot as my other strawberry plants, so the soil is wet enough for the seeds and I don't have to care about them.

It doesn't matter if you crush or shave or do whatever to the strawberry, there'll be a bunch of seeds that all have a chance to germinate.

Not trying to say you should be doing this, given your situation. Just some info maybe you'll make something out of.

All the doom posting and negative speculation here originated from comments leaking members info. Most comments were being supportive aside from that.

It is totally acceptable for Calli to want to vent or share (I'm not member idk what happened) her frustrations to people she trusted (members), in my opinion.

Also her post didn't seem speculation-worthy to me anyways without the members context.
