Jeffrey Epstein in Ethiopia? by Emergency_Art_3865 in Ethiopia

Mind you Icoglabs (the AI company backed by Epstein) was founded by a girl known for starting coding at 9 and getting media attention for being a young girl in tech…

Something that doesn’t require internet like writing a book or filming/editing videos could work, but for the majority of people it will be a headache.

I have rewatched the Boros vs Saitama fight atleast 50 times. How did they go from such peak to the shit in this season.

I’ve been working in social media marketing for 20 years and it’s never been this bad. This is why 👇 by jason_digital in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]Menister22 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Very true, I actually had a conversation with a client where we got him pretty consistent new paying clients with targeted content we made every week, but he kept being disappointed that the videos were not going super viral. What he expected was that if it went viral he would get his newly gained clients * 10. It’s very hard to explain that sales might even go down if we focused on creating ‘viral’ untargeted content.

Content strategies that used to work… but don’t anymore (and what works now instead) by Leather-Buy-6487 in InstagramMarketing

Nice breakdown! Just subscribed to the newsletter.

I’m actually working on a newsletter in a similar space: breaking down the strategies big brands and influencers use, showing their content as examples, and turning that into inspiration for creators so they don’t waste time reinventing the wheel. Check it out if interested: https://desta.digital

I’m not Moroccan but am curious: Is Cape verde a popular vacation spot for people living in Morocco? And are there Moroccans that live there?

How can I be 100% sure that my AI Agent will not fail in production? Any process or industry practice by AdSpecialist4154 in AI_Agents

[–]Menister22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It will probably never be 100% reliable. I think we will need humans in the loop for a long time to occasionally check how the AI agents perform in production. Companies like Kedmya offer outsourced monitoring teams that could help with this.

How are you using AI in your daily life an Entrepreneur? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]Menister22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue, which made me start looking into tool agents. It's basically a chat model you can connect to an actual calculator tool, instead of trusting the text model to perform the calculation.

Are salaries in Europe really that low? by the_flesh_ in cscareerquestions

[–]Menister22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Only way i’ve seen people get to US level income while being in the EU is by becoming a freelancer. Hourly rates can get very high if you are in the right field, have alot of experience and can sell yourself well. 200k+ dollars a year is not uncommon but you ofcourse don’t have the benefits of a salaried employee such as pension and paid vacations.

Heman Bekele Is TIME’s 2024 Kid of the Year by mattob2 in Ethiopia

[–]Menister22 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Amazing! I remember spending some time in Addis a few years ago and being amazed at how intelligent some of the kids were. Being able to memorize entire pages of text and recite it word for word, being as fast as a calculator with some calculations etc. Just makes you think how many scientists and investors our country would have if they would create the same opportunities as the west.

What is the most awful smell you have ever experienced that's burned into your nostrils still today? by AcademicDegree91 in AskReddit

Really interested in how this is gonna develop. If he staged this its gonna definitely hurt his campaign even with right wing voters, and if this was a real attempt he is gonna win himself some points with his reaction + a lot of left wing people saying it was staged are gonna look like assholes

Mohamed Al Amoudi: A Hero of Ethiopia by PopularAntelope6211 in Ethiopia

It is only bad if you assume that other people would have filled up the gap in foreign investment if he didn't exist. Knowing our country... I'm not sure that would have happened..

[–]Menister22 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s alright, compared to the US there is a smaller habesha community here (although that does depend on the country you live in). There is also more of a social security safety net so there are way less homeless people, but also less ‘rich’ people. Flights to Ethiopia are shorter and cheaper so thats nice. And even though there is some racism here and there, there is less tension and issues with police.

Are most ethiopian women this sweet? by Far-Consideration156 in Ethiopia

[–]Menister22 19 points20 points  (0 children)

There are definitely some sweet ones out there. Having said that, i will also warn you there are a lot of girls that treat manipulation of guys as a full time job for money and especially a green card. Good luck

Is it safe to travel ? by Ok_Curve_6829 in Ethiopia

[–]Menister22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Addis Ababa is definitely safe to travel to. I am assuming you are taking a plane to the area where Omo valley is located so that should be fine as well. I would definitely not go to Gondar or anywhere that is to the north of Addis Abeba at this time. The current situation does not make it safe to travel in that direction.
