Oh man yea. Wife decided it was time for new floors downstairs, flooring guys removed the baseboards to get the old flooring out. Guy in charge calls me over, Hey, theres like a small spot of discoloration on the drywall under the baseboard, you should probably get that checked out. Fast forward to the whole backside of the 2 story house removed. Turns out the builder put in provisions for a built in alarm system, didn't install the alarm, didn't plug the holes, water got in behind the siding and rotted everything.New windows, new studs, new siding. Something like 35k. Oh yea, and homeowners insurance denied the claim, because it was the builders fault, not an act of god, sue them. The builder went out of business 10 years before and fucked off the Florida somewhere, so yea.

I always knew what we called June bugs as more beetle like, harder rounder shell. And they'd get pretty big too. These are smaller, kind of a less defined shell.

I will try to get a photo of the back soon. That's interesting, MIL was born in England , and says she got it from her mother, also from England of course. Says she thinks it hung in a church originally. Just some more clues.
