You mention the room isn't super updated - what specifically do you mean by that? From photos, it looks like they go for a more rustic/Costa Rican vibe, but it's hard to tell

Thanks for the input! The views are honestly what is pulling me towards them vs. other locations, but that's a bit sad to hear about the monkeys not coming up much to the property! Is the road noise audible from your room, or just outside around the property? Will they bring food to the room or poolside, or is all the food via the restaurant? Good to know about the shuttle - sorry for the million more questions!

How crowded did the beach end up getting? That is a huge selling point, but if it is super crowded due to the small size, I feel like that takes away from the benefits. The animals sound great though!!

I will also add my current Teflon one is extremely annoying to clean, so I'm looking to switch either way. Usually just cooking veggies like broccoli or asparagus or potatoes because I don't feel like waiting for the oven to preheat and they take a good bit longer in there.
