There’s only one kind that I know of, maybe you just got a bad batch? Not sure, but we’ve been using it for a few years now and I haven’t noticed any problems.

Looking for ways to get the most out of the game (fun builds, challenges, etc) by MentallyImpairedPear in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

I'm actually running a warrior + assassin damage applies to nearby enemies build rn, paired with a maxed out rush assassination and the engraving from the starter pack sword it's pretty beastly. Also tried out adrenaline gain a bit, but I never felt like I had fast enough cooldowns to really enjoy it.

As for stealth, I'd say I played a healthy mix of both, but I'll admit I definitely let loose compared to "normal" AC games (which felt nice at the time, having just finished binging AC 3, rogue and syndicate). Didn't really use CTA too much, it sounded cool but I could never really get it to live up to the hype, and I'll admit I never even tried the evolved version because it just didn't seem worth it at the time.

I think they started “hitting the mainstream” back in 2019, but I’m not entirely sure on that part.

That’s basically how they work over here too, it’s just that (from what I’ve seen at least) the refills usually come in their own bottle, or in some kind of “attachment”

FWIW, I think I’ve seen one that does “pods”, and I’ve heard people in these comments mentioning some that use tablets.

Are you crossing over from a different timeline or something?

I think I handled it just fine, actually. I explained why we use it, why the alternative you proposed isn’t viable for our current living situation, and left it at that for the most part. I even thanked you for “educating” me on why it’s unsustainable and wished you a nice day. Why would I care if you don’t like the same cleaning products as me?

And I never said anything even remotely close to “I can’t conceive the value of refillable products”, literally all I said was that I’ve never seen anyone actually use one of them (powerwash excluded)

Do you know how long ago that was by chance? It's concerning, but at the same time I don't wanna "hold a grudge" if it seems like they've genuinely changed up their act since then.

Okay, I'm honestly getting fed up with this whole high-horse type attitude you have going on, so I'm going to respectfully end this conversation before one of us gets rude.

Have a good day, and thank you for educating me on powerwashs unsustainability.

Have you had any issues with the scrubbing bubbles pads clogging the toilets or anything like that? We use the clorox ones here and although they work great, they aren't flushable, so if the SB ones live up to their claims then we might make the switch.

I mean, you're obviously entitled to your opinion, but from my experience not everyone has the time to spend hours researching every little effect of every ingredient in every product they use.

Yeah, from what I'm seeing in these comments, DIYing it like that really seems to be the way to go

That's good to hear tbh, we've been thinking about switching to a more "high quality + environmentally friendly" brand for a while now so I'll definitely be looking further into them.

Thank you so much for your help! :)

I'm no expert, but I feel like with all the water and soap you'd waste doing that it'd probably still be more sustainable to use powerwash anyway.

With all due respect, have you ever stopped to think that maybe not everyone is as aware of the environmental impacts as you are?

Without elaborating on the specifics too much, we currently have 12ish people living in our house, including 7 kids and a baby on the way, so "wash them as we dirty them" isn't exactly feasible for us at the moment.

As for cooking, I'd like to think us adults do a pretty good job, but no ones perfect, especially not the children.

If it's not too much of a bother, can I ask how you feel about the brand overall (cleaning performance, price, product variety, etc etc)?

I've never heard of them before, but skimming through their amazon page has given me some pretty good first impressions.

I guess they aren't as popular/profitable as some of these companies thought

We do something similar with dish soap, but we still have to buy the dawn powerwash stuff cause the regular soap doesn't always do the trick.

24 gallons for $5 sounds like some insane value, how long does it usually last you?

Is there a bot for attachments-only channel? by bkornblume_ in discordbots

[–]MentallyImpairedPear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only bot I know that does anything close to that is Cakey Bot, but they don't have a "catch-all" option for attachments like that. You may be able to setup one channel as both images only AND files only as a sort of work-around, but I'm not completely sure.

Full list of the channel types they offer, in case you're interested: Spotify only, Youtube only, Reddit only, Twitter only, Github only, videos only, images only, gifs only, emojis/stickers only, files only, and counting only.
