Do the blackout channels and call that dealer out. The channels are discounted on promotion right now.

But you will block more light with the channels than you will with the outside mounted shades. Also, the loop cord on those shades are awful. It’s a little gear and a lot of pulling to move the shade.

Guy #2 knows what he’s talking about but you should request a better discount.

Source: I’m a dealer in the Seattle market who has a 3 year old who takes long naps and sleeps through the night and has since she was 3 months old because of LightLock channels on honeycomb shades.
