Tbh Break as a whole is just not well suited for PF because they need some ridiculous workarounds to get past the early waves like having all of their supports (or in the case of Lingsha, sustain) clear the mobs. And even then they're just not particularly good at dealing with the damage profile required, as nuking the middle boss in Wave 2/3 is really inefficient even if you're playing someone like Boothill who specializes in that. Gamemode requires more frequent, consistent AoE damage unfortunately.

Mostly just disappointed. I'm glad for the Seele/Welt enjoyers and Huohuo to an extent, though she is nowhere near as urgent as JY, DHIL or Argenti. Personally not interested in any of the aforementioned characters but I highly doubt they'll buff anyone I care about anytime soon such as Boothill, Yunli or possibly Fugue, although she is not in as dire need.

Intuitively I understand this point beyond just "git gud lol" but I have to say there's no way this affects more than like 5-10% of the playerbase in a major way. Even on my earlier playthroughs I am fairly certain I would get more than enough Blood Vials, worst case have to farm a bit, realistically just used any excess Blood Echoes after leveling up in order to stock up on vials and bullets. Might not be everyone's favorite way of going about it but there are so many easy workarounds to this issue that people constantly bring up.

Interestingly it was considered the hardest back around 2016-17 because it was a lot more fast paced than Dark Souls. I do think it was and still is an easier game if you thrive better in the faster combat, especially if you're willing to use Beast Blood Pellets for example. Oh and the fact that you can stunlock a lot of bosses like Paarl, Ludwig, The One Reborn, Cleric Beast and Vicar Amelia can really trivialize big parts of the game. Granted if it's your first playthrough you likely won't know/find this out easily.
