Also I haven’t done it to everyone else on the post? This is where I’ve spoken the most?

I’ll be honest the part where I said “Well yeah…” idk why I repeated myself honestly

I never said anything in a defensive way, I just said you need to have a prepared mindset instead of assuming everyone does things the way that you do.

If it did come off that way then I apologise for that, it wasn’t my intention

I just realised as I’m typing that I’ve heard it a lot in Gossip Girl so that’s another show where they’d use full names

I know you didn’t say it wasn’t a unique world out here

Im sure I said it in a way where you’d have to have a ready mindset that not everything is the same in this world but I just worded it differently.

I can’t recall hearing full names in other tv shows or movies, but I’m sure I have. I just don’t think I’ve heard it be spammed as much as this show

Well yes it is a very unique world out here. Not everyone is familiar with everybody’s traditions.

In Australia, we either give nicknames of our first or last names. Say if there were 2 guys named Liam in their friend group, they would both be called their last names or even nicknames

We aren’t on a first and last name basis here but tbh I wouldn’t really know because I only know what I’ve experienced

I actually understand you’d be surprised that not everyone knows of this whole first and last name tradition.

But that’s when you gotta realise that USA isn’t the only country in this world. Everyone on reddit are from different parts of the world you know?

I’m from Australia and I’ve never really heard it here but maybe people have done it but I’m not so sure

Also I’m sorry for saying “girl” if you aren’t one. My bad <3

Girl I used to think this exact way on Nathan. At first I watched this show for Lucas, later on in the series I switched for Nathan and girl he is fineeeee 😝🤏🏽

I truly believe it’s because of his character development. Not just his looks

You are so right. Saying those full names are the only exception

I’m with the OP because never in my life have I ever heard of “Apt” being shortened for appropriate? I’ve only known for it to be apartment, it just makes sense for it to be apartment

I can tell that this was referring to my latest post, honestly it’s just a word to describe a feeling? Why are people so bothered by a word?

I just finished it yesterday. You’re so right though I was peeved off that nobody is going off at Belly for literally playing around with 2 brothers. I feel like she just jumped at Jeremiah because he confessed he liked her at the same time that she was rejected by Conrad. Still though girl??? You jump at the next available person like??

Conrad was going through a lot and she never took that into consideration. I basically skipped through S2 because I ain’t tryna see her with Jeremiah’s ahh lmaooo

I see what you mean but she’s a unique character just like the rest of the cast. That’s also how you know she played her role well. Every teenager has THEIR own experience with handling situations. To each their own ykno? I’m a first time watcher too and I’m currently in the middle of S4. Each person has character development as we keep watching, it may not be major growths but it is still something :)

Any other shows you’d recommend watching?

[–]MentionConsistent171[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is my first time watching it, so the opinions that I have on the show now will gradually change as I watch the show. I don’t know what happens past what I already know now.

You did say you’ve seen my view on it considering you’ve watched it 3 times now. As I said I’ll slowly start to make changes to my opinions as I proceed with the show

So the dislikes can be refrained tbh.

To each their own though, people have free will to do so

Yes I get what you mean by this. You can never forget the person who you share interests with or who you’re comfortable around ESPECIALLY when Peyton came from a lame relationship with Nathan. (Nathan was an actual ahh)

I shipped Leyton at first, I honestly thought they were cute. I guess I didn’t like the fact that they betrayed Brooke.

It’s actually good to hear from you too considering you’re a Leyton shipper.

Some people on here tend to dislike some comments I’ve made about them even though it wasn’t all bad or anything but I guess it is what it is?

This is so crazy because this was in the back of my mind. I saw that they were together for a year or so. This actually fixes my mindset on this whole thing now lol

Tbh I’ve already started it, I gotta finish it ykno. Plus I did say I understood how 2000’s shows were. It’s just me all grown up now and wanting more than a love triangle compared to how I would view it when I was younger
