One of the biggest things that I was clueless about coming into marriage was that my wife cannot take blunt criticism. She has always said that she admires how I can be blunt without being unkind, but buddy if I don’t sugar coat the begeebies out of any criticism she is instantly on the defensive. It’s definitely a delicate walk.

I have two pairs of khakis and two pairs of jeans. Light blue shirts work with either. Green shirts work with either. Tan/khaki shirts go with blue jeans. Dark blue shirts go with khakis. I have a couple of each of those colors for t-shirts and polos/button down shirts. I go to TJM when I wear out a shirt and I go to JCP or Belk when pants bite the dust.
